The Explore section of the HUMAN Dashboard allows you to refine and visualize the traffic data collected by each of HUMAN's solutions. You can create custom views that offer a dynamic overview of your site’s traffic. View data can also be incorporated into alerts or converted into reports.
If you’re having trouble loading Explore data, you may need to disable any active ad blockers and refresh your browser.
You can use the view navigation bar to create new views or load an existing view.
New Custom View
You can create your own view at any time by selecting the New Custom View button. If you would like to create a view based on an existing template, select the arrow next to this button to open a drop-down menu with several HUMAN templates to choose from.
This drop-down menu lists any existing views associated with your account. All views you create are automatically shared with other users in your organization.
- My Custom Views: Custom views that you have previously created.
- Company Views: Custom views created by other users in your organization.
- White Ops Views: Official views created by the HUMAN team.
- Standard Industry Views: Views accredited by the Media Rating Council (for FraudSensor data only). These views have predefined parameters and cannot be customized.
This drop-down menu lists the views you have marked as favorite, if applicable.
This drop-down menu lists your most recently-used views, if applicable.
Any data associated with your view will appear in the center pane of the Explore page. Depending on your view's data settings, you may see more or less data about your company’s traffic.
You can adjust the time frame of your view by selecting one of several preset date ranges or by selecting a custom date range on the calendar. When selecting a custom date range, choose Select to apply your changes, or Cancel to revert to the previous date configuration.
HUMAN provides a high-level summary of your site’s traffic during the selected frame, including a breakdown of Sophisticated Invalid Traffic (SIVT) and General Invalid Traffic (GIVT). To learn more about SIVT and GIVT, consult our IVT Taxonomy guide.
You can also toggle between a traffic summary and traffic visualization by selecting the chart icon in the upper right corner of the pane.
This visualization compiles your traffic data into a simple chart displaying trends over time. Depending on your view's visualization settings, this may be a line chart, a bar chart, or a combination of the two. If this data visualization pane is active, you can select the three dots icon in the top right corner to download an image of your chart.
In addition to a high-level overview, you can also view a more detailed breakdown of your site’s traffic during the selected time frame. HUMAN displays this data as a table with rows and columns that correspond to the fields, filters, and metrics you chose for your view. You can select the different column headers for each metric to sort data by that metric, in either ascending or descending order.
The configuration sidebar offers a variety of options for customizing your view. You can expand or collapse this sidebar at any time. After you’ve finished customizing your view, select Clone to save a clone of your view, Report to convert your view into a report, or Save to save your view for future reference.
